Thapki, which means a nudging pat on the back, is the story of a girl who is beautiful, bright and intelligent, but unfortunately, she stammers while speaking and requires to be nudged every time she gets stuck, thus the name Thapki. Jilted by her fiancé on the eve of her marriage, since he doesn’t want a wife who stammers, and constantly being the butt of jokes, Thapki’s dreams are shattered. But that does not hold her back. Deciding to move on, she gets a job as an intern in a prestigious News channel and ends up falling in love with the channel owner Dhruv. However, life has never been simple for her. What does destiny hold for this charming girl?
